Basketball

Our main job is to make sure children and young people have fun, and develop good discipline and physical conditioning. MDD teaching approach provides a sound basketball value system. For a step-by-step basketball coaching system with everything you need to create a winning team.

Netball

Playing Netball creates a good level of fitness and agility. This popular sport requires proficient ball skills particularly in passing and catching. MDD coaches teach methods that include footwork practices that develop body control when catching and throwing a ball, speedy changes of direction and sharp footwork positioning to hold down a space and cut off a defender's effectiveness.

 

Striving for a top performance gives a player sharpness and an awareness of responsibility within a team structure. The different positions in netball enable participants of all different shapes and sizes to participate.

Football

In teams and games we teach accurate and creative passing and demonstrate winning individual moves that can create space against the most packed of defenses. 
MDD Fitness coach exercises where each player uses both feet to receive the ball that improves a player's first touch.

Rugby

MDD Fitness provides a number of School rugby programs designed to cater for the needs of the children and young people of all ages. Most of our programs are non-contact to fit into the duty of care parameters. Our rugby programs are games based and are an excellent way to provide a healthy sporting alternative.

The programs are designed to fit into the school curriculum and school sport time frames. We provide a customised program when necessary.

 

Each session is run in a series of 4-8 week sessions to fit in with the needs of your existing sports programs. MDD Fitness coach rugby drills to help kids master the basics. Tackling drills, running drills, ball-handling drills, passing drills, kicking drills, diet tips, code of conduct, motivational strategies, and a whole lot more.

We encourage the girls and boys to choose which program they want to be in as both offer lots of scope for fun and healthy activities.

Cricket

Our Cricket programme is a great way for young cricketers to improve their skills, techniques and confidence. The sessions usually last two or three hours and cover all aspects of batting, bowling or wicket keeping. It is a unique opportunity for young cricketers to pick up tips, coaching and advice from professional cricketers.
